Crowne Plaza Glasgow, an IHG Hotel

Great hotel in a great location. Close to the Hydro for events. Excellent breakfast. Clean and spacious room. The hotel gets busy during events and the 3 lifts are inadequate to cope with the demand. We paid for upgraded rooms but could not get into the VIP lounge as it was ridiculously full and standing.

Great location, friendly staff and clean rooms with good facilities. The location is great with easy access to the West End and the rest of the city and lovely walks along the Clyde. This was our 2nd stay at the Crowne Plaza and were excited to have a room on the 15th floor with access to the Club lounge which had fabulous views of the city. The room was peaceful and had everything we needed including the most comfortable bed! The reception, bar and breakfast staff were all super friendly and helpful too. We will definitely stay again on our next trip to Glasgow.

I stayed here for a two day birthday break and as an IHG platinum member, I was treated with the upmost courtesy and respect from all the staff, especially all the reception staff who were absolutely amazing. They went above and beyond for my birthday and gave me a little treat such as a birthday card and a box of chocolates which I thought was delightful. They put a smile on my face, so thank you so much to the reception staff for going above and beyond.. The hotel is amazing from the views to the spa treatment, which was nice for my birthday. The gym and it’s staff to all the reasonable good equipment. Overall, a fantastic experience and the hotel ticks all my boxes. I would highly recommend everyone who comes to Glasgow to book yourself at the Crowne Plaza. Definitely 10 out of 10.

Great hotel but they need to sort out the carpark so a coach can drop off and pickup and get turned about…. That’s if they’re interested…. Mind you, it would help if car drivers could actually park properly. I didn’t stay there but the staff I met were all great. I’m sure it’s a great hotel.

Lovely hotel and food. Staff are so welcoming and friendly. Came for our anniversary and had a 3 course meal which was outstanding. Room was big and clean with an amazing view! Will definitely be back. We got married at the Crowne Plaza in Edinburgh and was nice to stay in the Glasgow one! Which we actually found a lot nicer!
