Hilton Glasgow

Stayed in this Hotl recently on a business trip. The hotel itself is easy to get to and offers a good location if visiting the city. Check-in was fine, and the room offered what was required. The room, I felt, was fairly standard and didn't jump out as anything special. Similar to what I had at The Village Hotel across the river a few weeks previous. Food in the bar/restaurant was good for dinner, and the breakfast buffet was good, too. I would stay again. However, for the price, I would probably go back to The Village Hotel

I attended the European Congress of Anesthesiology. The reception on the first day was magnificent and luxurious, in the presence of hundreds of doctors and owners of international companies. After a two day conference, the staff were so cheerful and welcoming. The food was also excellent and delicious. It was a beautiful trip to Glasgow, Scotland, and the weather was mild.

Didn’t have a good experience..first the check in staff was not in a mood to even greet…then when you went to access the pool we got to know its 10 pounds per person..why would you ask your guests to pay for a service which is/should be a part of the hotel amenities? We are a diamond member so got access to the executive lounge but even there we had a poor experience. As compared to all other Hilton properties, this Hilton offers only limited drinks and food. You could have as many beer or wine but Gin and Scotch were capped to max 2 per person. There is no buffet service. We used there bar downstairs which was really good and staff was very friendly but they ended up overcharging us by 9 drinks. They realised their human error and fixed the bill. Breakfast had a good variety but was average taste. Rooms were great and had a nice view and cleaning service was really good.

Have to say, it's really excellent. Invited to a wedding reception in the ballroom. Food, drinks all first class and staff very helpful. We didn't stay overnight.

Absolutely lovely hotel after its refurbishment. Rooms are beautiful and well designed. Breakfast is very well organized and plenty of options avaliable. Great service, especially from the staff at reception and the executive lounge. The food is great in the lounge to and a great idea having ordered platters. My 3rd time here and won't be my last. Great location too.
