From my initial phone call to successful completion of the landscaping at at my coastal cottage, Scot (company owner), Keith the PM and their landscaping team were entirely co-operative, supportive, hard-working and thoroughly professional. MacColl & Stokes (Scott and Keith) have a refreshingly customer leaning / solutions focused ethos. In short they removed stress from planning to final task execution by achieving the right balance of listening to the customer's wishes whilst providing sound professional guidance.. We are very impressed with the service provided by MacColls who have recently landscaped the garden and upgraded the driveway. The team working on the project were professional and skilled. They were very organised and worked well together. Especially impressive was the degree of communication between Alan (the project manager), us as the customer, the garden designer and the work team. Delighted with the work that has been completed by Alan and the MacColl and Stokes team. Having moved into a new build house with a garden that can only be described as a cut-up rugby pitch, we decided to look into having it landscaped into something more practical. Having had a few quotes from other companies come in we settled on MacColl and Stokes. On Alans first visit he listened to our needs and discussed the various options available to us, making suggestions with regard to certain aspects that we hadn’t considered. The plans were drafted up and forwarded to us promptly. The plans for the garden were executed to a high level. The team were extremely punctual and left the site clean and tidy after each day causing minimal impact to my wife and I. Alan regularly kept in touch with site visits to ensure the garden was progressing well. MacColl and Stokes have proven to be a truly professional company to work with and we would highly recommend them to anyone who is looking for landscaping work. My wife and I are delighted with our garden, and although it was a significant investment for us, it is certainly not a decision we regret.

Many thanks to the excellent team from Maccoll & Stokes, who skilfully transformed our tired and dated back garden into a bright, contemporary outdoor space. Their designer worked closely with us to interpret our ideas. The project included changing three sloping areas into two new level spaces with a patio, steps, freshly turfed lawn, and wider borders. The friendly team took good care of the plants we wished to retain and left the site tidy at the end of each day. They worked hard and were able to make decisions with us when any unanticipated issues arose. We are absolutely delighted with the quality of the work and attention to detail and are pleased that we chose Maccoll & Stokes.

Exceptional professionalism and service from all of the team throughout our garden makeover project. Scott was available throughout to discuss any issues or changes to the schedule and all of the team were polite, professional and hardworking, always happy to answer questions.
