Well kept space. fortunately, it was a lovely sunny day, although windy. lots of people were using the park. was not overcrowded.
Great park right next to the city centre. there is a foot/cycle path right alongside the clyde river. it's convenient for a quick break from the hustle & bustle of the city centre. and like all the wonderful parks in glasgow, it looks different in every season!
Glasgow green is the city's oldest public park and has been a popular destination for more than 300 years. visitors can enjoy leisurely walks, picnics, and the beautiful views of the river clyde. in addition, it has many attractions such as the people's palace and winter gardens, the doulton fountain, the mclellan galleries, and the nelson monument. sporting facilities are also available, and the park is home to the famous west of scotland cricket club. you can enjoy a variety of activities, including jogging, football, and playing catch or frisbee.
It was my first time to glasgow green. i was attending a music festival. quite a large area to walk around but enjoyable. i don't know what it would be like without the festival set up? i guess it's still a great park.
A very good place to chill out with your family and friends. have a nice long walk or just go workout. friendly people all around and your pets will definitely love the place.
