Village born for the over 50s ... with many beautiful prefabricated houses. It is also camping, large pitches in gravel and grass, clean bathrooms, with toilet paper and soap, equipped with washing machines and dryers, there is even soap for washing the dishes. It is approx. a 12km from Glasgow in the village of Stepps but has the railway a twenty minute walk away with trains running every half hour. The last train back from Queen Street Station is very late, around midnight in the summer. Really recommendable.
