St Oswald's Priory

I love the history behind this ruin. There isn't much left to see but if you have an interest in the history of King Alfred you may like to visit here as this was once the residence of his daughter and her husband.

Not a great deal to see but as the burial place of Aethelflaed Queen of the Mercians, it's got to be done! And only 5 mins walk from the beautiful Gloucester Cathedral.
