Alan Dawson (aka the 'The Kilted Cabbie', according to folklore) is exceptional. As well as going out of his way to pick us up early, he was extremely charismatic and his knowledge of the local area and its history is unrivalled. We finished a very wet walk to Bedgellert with 2 black labradors and we’re anticipating a long wait for the bus to our accommodation. Alan & his taxi were waiting near the bus stop for a regular fare, which fortunately for us didn’t show. …

Amazing service! Alan the driver is a legend! He took us back to our car after we walked down Y Wyddfa on a different route to the one we went up. Great local knowledge and lovely chat.
