Quietly noble little tribute. thoughtful. lichen or oxidation spots threatening to obscure the lettering.
A lovely property with nice walking trails. a great diversion from work and the hotel.
Heavily oxidised bronze plaque erected as a memorial to crash victims on harmondsworth moor. in 1943 a canadian halifax bomber crashed here killing the seven crew on board. the site is easy enough to reach via the gravel path. parking is on the nearby road.
