Great pub in halifax tucked away up cobbled Road to back of pub. Friendly bar staff and spot on beer. A proper boozer. We're not local ,South Leeds but every time we go to halifax we make a point of paying a call after shopping. Always Friendly locals.

A pub that I can call my local, great staff, great friends, great service and banter. Poker on a Thursday night. I really should pop in more than once a week, but I love the Upper George.

Excellent bar staff great juke box played all my underground sixties favorites great choice of beers they even called me a taxi at last orders thank you Cheers
