Old Roar Gill

A fantastic muddy walk through a steep wooded valley, great fun with family and the dog. Hidden away, park at the end of Vale Road or on Ghyllside Avenue. There is no official path to Old Roar, but it sounds impressive. Little Roar is accessible and just as impressive.

Nice walk when you find where to walk eventually. Advice-go after it rained the day before, otherwise it's a typical British "attraction" - a dribble of water on the stones...
