The rooms looked so beautiful yesterday, and the bonus of the Ludlow Male Voice Choir singing carols was a real bonus. We solved the mystery of the missing necklace, and then had a fab hot festive drink in the cafe with a slice of parsnip and ginger cake!

Excellent castle of the house kind. Not fortressy at all, but well furnished and some interesting paintings. Plenty of information available in books in each room. …
