I really loved this place. it is on a bustling street with all the boutique arty shops & trendy bars. really young crowd. all the places looked very individual. a great street if you are bored of the usual chain bars & chain restaurants. it is a lovely part of young with a great atmosphere. the staff were really lovely. and they have the original "dead bod"graffiti that used to be one of the last things the sailors saw as they headed out to sea!
Nice gallery well spaced with a lovely 2nd floor visual and audio exhibition. once you have finished looking at the exhibition you can have a nice refreshment in the in house cafe.
An amazing gallery! this art gallery has a wonderfully authentic and independent feel. it gives the opportunity for artists to exhibit their amazingly unique work and you get the sense the team really value both the artists and the work they are committed too. the size is just right - plenty of rich culture to absorb but also not to big/intimidating - it feels very accessible! there is also a very pleasant cafe where you can grab a coffee and relax before or after your look round - or even if you just want a place to hang out!
Small gallery with interesting, varied, exhibits. free to view. downstairs is a great bar. the rooftop bar though is even better. views across the harbour and town. it gets very busy up there but can turn over quite quickly. it’s worth the wait.
