The Brain Jar

Delicious drinks, awesome staff, great atmosphere. solid 10/10!

Been here before but a long time ago. went on sunday 4th june and had one of the nicest pizzas i've ever had (and i've had a fair few). the cocktails were amazing, friendly staff and the music was kinda 90s britpop and indie.

We were in the brain jar mainly for the quiz but stayed there all afternoon. the quiz was great fun. the food is amazing. the main reason for going to the brain jar is the brilliant cocktail menu. classic or modern, they are all there. the staff are awesome and the table service is superb. it's a great idea to have the option of water on the table all the time.

Last friday my husband's family and i came to the brain jar to celebrate after him and i got married that same day. we decided to go to the brain jar because it is our favorite bar in hull. it was so much fun and the service was amazing. when we walked inside, everyone clapped for us and we had a nice comfortable seating area for our party of 6. it was a great night with tasty cocktails. couldn't have asked for more. thank you so much to everyone working there that night for everything! we had an amazing time.

Great atmosphere and vibe. the decoration around the place is amazing and eye catching and the staff seem friendly enough. there wasn't much choice for vegetarians on the menu, and it's a shame the sweet potato fries are no longer on the menu as i have been told many good things. the wedges replacement were alright. the food was alright but bizarre to have a chicken sandwich which is a chicken wrapped in a pitta bread. the grease dripped through to make the bottom soggy. was alright but wouldn't come again for food, maybe some drinks but...
