The decor of this pub is amazing: exposed floorboards, a ceiling of old pump-clips and an assortment of antique objects. It's very popular for food although this can make it seem that every table is booked up. The beer choice is cask-focused and beers have always been well-kept in my experience. However, the beer choice is always - without trying to be rude - a bit 'random'. Obscure Yorkshire breweries such as Hilltop and White Rose, seem to dominate making it feel like you're in one of their taps rather than a supposed freehouse. It would be nice to se some of the better Yorkshire, cask-making breweries represented.
