Oakwood Canine Services

I would recommend oakwood canine services to any dog owner. they have helped our dalmatian regain his confidence with other dogs in training lessons and he is quickly progressing in his agility sessions too! thank you to the team for their hard work!

We began training with oakwood canine services back in 2017/2018 with our rescue dog larry due to his behaviour traits - nervousness and having aneixty. larry started off with george to see what would suit us and what type of training would be beneficial. went on to one and one classes with kerry who was very patient and very understanding of larry and the history he came with. during this time larry we trained with other rescue dogs to try get him over his nervous actions towards dogs he saw. it's now at the point where he is apart of the group sessions which we never thought would happen and now has a sister from the oakwood rescue living with us which is all down to the training we have received and put in place he is able to share his home and family with another dog. many of our family/friends say how far larry has come over the years due to the training and efforts put in. we honestly appreciate kerry and team for helping us on this journey and still continue to support us. we would highly recommend oakwood canine services to anyone!

I'd become a bit stuck with my two rescue dogs and needed some help getting back on track with their training. kerry has been brilliant at assessing our needs and giving us guidance to improve dog/people reactivity, muzzle training, loose lead walking and recall. both dogs are much happier and calmer on walks now, which makes them much easier to handle and i can enjoy our walks too. highly recommend kerry and the oakwood canine services team!!

We began seeing behavioural issues with our two year old yorkshire terrier, loki after the arrival of our son. oakwood canine services were recommended to us by oakwood dog day school. loki has had several sessions with charlotte, and we couldn’t be more thankful. charlotte is calm, patient, understanding, very knowledgeable and clearly loves what she does. in the short spaces of time we have during sessions, charlotte has identified various potential issues and causes, and suggested constructive and practical solutions to help us identify and even prevent loki’s misbehaviour. it’s clear to see by many friends and family just how much loki has improved since his first session. my wife and i cannot thank charlotte and the rest of the staff at oakwood canine services enough. we would both highly recommend oakwood canine services to anyone!
