Holiday Inn Express Hull City Centre

I really liked this place. Right next to the train station. You have to take the lift up to the 1st floor for reception. The room was a decent size, a choice of pillows, nicely laid out. Lots of helpful notes, things like if you need toothpaste/razor/etc, ask from reception. Breakfast was fine as well. Only things I'd say is maybe take your earplugs if you're on the side facing towards the road, and my room didn't have a fridge (but I didn't care).

Sean and Yanna (Reception and Housekeeping) were so professional, friendly and helpful. A credit to Holiday Inn. If there are any staff awards or any commendation awards or rewards, these two should be huge winners! Very nice people and quite a rare breed in the hospitality indistry. Dion and Amy were wonderful too and so nice and Dave and Katie were great and accommodating at check in. Brilliant team at Hull. Breakfast was great and had good options and bedroom was like my bedroom so home away from home!! Wonderful stay. Thank you so much!!

Parking isn't an issue, drive to Portland place which is the street second left passing Holiday Inn Express, drive straight on, at the cross road drive straight on and into the 'St' multi story carpark, follow it round and pass the carwash bays on the right until you see a sign on the wall saying ' Holiday Inn Express Entrance'. When you leave you pay at the hotel reception and they input your car registration into the tablet, it's £7 as apposed to the £20 usual fee. It's 24 hr parking when you arrive. The staff are all very pleasant and amazing, they all went out their way to make us feel welcome, the room was nice and clean. We would definitely stop again, there's an array of shopping centres, shops and amenities around the hotel with plenty to do, we went to the deep which isn't too far away.

We have stayed at other different hotels obviously short stay and this one has the staff who will go out of their way to do a good job. Always clean rooms etc no fuss. Stayed with my husband here back in February and had a really positive experience. The room was sparkling clean and actually quite modern. Comfy beds! The views over the city and Humber from our high up room were amazing and made it extra special. The staff were friendly and down to earth. Breakfast was really wide ranging which was a great bonus also! Parking was super easy. Location is excellent. Would 100% stay here again. A very pleasant surprise! Thank you Holiday Inn Express Hull!
