Nice leisure centre although Swimming can be a bit of a chore, with half the pool closed for swimming lessons , Leaving little room for swimmers . Weve used this pool for many years, but we finally changed to elsewhere as some days if there isn't a swimmers lane, you struggle to get 1 length in . Our mum had swimming lessons beginning of year, hoping to learn to swim for her holidays, an the instructor was pretty bad . He needs reviewing. Regarding the cafe, a few times the food hasn't been to standard , Eg: jacket potato not cooked. A hair in my scrambled egg. The portion size of the child's pasta was minuscule which would be acceptable if the price was £1 . But it was no different to adult prices , burnt toast etc. Two of the reception staff can be snappy an not very accommodating. Why work with the public if you carnt be friendly .

Swimming with my 2 boys 10 and 1 Lovely sized pools very nice and warm in the childrens pool plenty of space. We have visited other swimming pools this one for my 10 year old isnt the best yes its good for swimming but no slides kids fun ect which alot of pools do include now. We will use again as its in our area but could be improved

A gluten free breakfast for a Coeliac! Unfortunately the scrambled eggs were over cooked (microwaved) so I'll opt for fried eggs next time but it's wonderful to know I am catered for and the staff had knowledge of cross contamination too. The chocolate sprinkles on my cappuccino were also non-gluten but I do check this each time I'm asked if I'd like chocolate sprinkles wherever I go, just in case.

Dance competition at short notice as regular venue was unable to do it.. It was a very hot day & they did their best at cooling the hall down. The pool looked lovely. The only issue we had was parking but with the amount of dancers & regular users it was to be expected..

Everything you need under one roof. Swimming, large pool and never too full. The gym, very spacious lots of equipment. The library which has little clubs. Reading clubs for adults, lego club for kids. The cafe is lovely, fairly expensive for a cafe bur very tasty food. All staff are friendly and helpful. I go often to the soft play they hold. Brilliant complex.
