Rehab and Recover Physio & Sports Massage Clinic

Chris took me through my full ACL rehab for me to return to sport and I couldn’t be happier with where I am 8 month later. He has excellent knowledge, great equipment and has given me support throughout the full process. Best in the business!

Amazing from start to finish throughout my ACL injury. Went to two other physio for diagnosis and both missed the damage I’d done to my ACL and Meniscus. Chris spotted the injury straight away and passed me to Dr Edwards(knee specialist) who confirmed the injury and guided me through getting on the waiting list for surgery. Prior to surgery Chris provided me with a plan to strengthen the knee as much as possible to encourage recovery post surgery. Also hired me equipment and a set me rehab plan to aid in recovery in the first few weeks post surgery. Once at the running stage Chris arranged time on the anti-gravity treadmill. Regular strength checks using force plates to monitor the strength increase in my knee. Chris took me, an amateur sports player from ACL reconstruction back to playing American football in 10months. Not only did the whole team at Rehab and Recover help in my rehab they have also taught me many techniques and methods of training to minimise the risk of re-injury. Weekly check in’s and always available via message for any questions throughout. I would recommend Chris and his team to anyone with any form of injury as the treatment you receive is second to none!

I went to see Chris about 9 months after ACL surgery at a time when I was getting frustrated with the NHS and their generic rehab plan. Chris from R&R took the time to explain me mechanics of the pain and to listen to everything that was affecting me physically and mentally to set out a plan to recover and regain confidence in my knee. When I first started with R&R, I had been let down by the NHS but within 3 weeks of following Chris’s plan I noticed a drastic improvement. He tailored my physio to respond specifically to the pain and weaknesses I was experiencing. An extremely knowledgable physio. Would highly recommend.
