Footfriend

My world had become quite small due to the pain and discomfort of ingrowing toenails on both big toes. Had relied on footcare and cutting etc for some months with my attendance at the chiropodist becoming more frequent. Am diabetic and was wary of nail surgery because of my difficulty in healing . Damian was extremely patient , took me through the benefits and risks of the procedure and explained how he could personalise my care following the surgery taking place. The procedure itself was professionally performed and painless, the aftercare was excellent and only when the healing had taken place was I discharged. I have left the review until a number of months later as I wanted to evaluate not just the short term( pain relief - excellent from day one. ) but the longer term quality of life measures.... I'm building my stamina, walking to my allotment every day and am able to do much more physically and socially since the surgery..... I've been on two COVID postponed holidays abroad which had quite a walking element to them and they've gone really well. able to concentrate and enjoy with no pain !! After struggling years with ingrowing toenails, i finally made an appointment to get them sorted out for once and for all. Damien was great, surgery was very professional as was the aftercare I received with regular follow up appointments. .

My sister and I visited here several times over the last year and can't be any happier with the service. Damien looked after us both all the way through until we were fully sorted and made us feel at ease with everything. The receptionists were lovely also and the prices were very reasonable, especially how prices are going up at the minute. Highly recommend :)
