The Minerva

Old pub in the marina, great for drinks. i didn't like that you have to go to the bar to order and pay, also the fish and chips wasn't so great but the soup of the day (leek soup) was absolutely amazing.

Situated on the marina, it is an absolutely fantastic place for lunch, i had fish and chips with mushy peas and meat pie with homemade chips followed by desert, homemade brownies & cream were beautiful it's only a very tiny tiny inconvenience i have to mention. bit nit picky but asked for more sauces, and i was acknowledged, but no extra sauce arrived but highy recommend this place and i definitely will be back

Had a great time eating from christmas menu and drinking from large selection of beers. extremely friendly and helpful staff. food was piping hot from kitchen, tasty and good sized portions. i will be back in the summer, cheers

The minerva is a real “find” in hull by the marina. the car park to use is the fruit market car park (£2.50 all day on weekends). the staff, food and atmosphere are excellent. the food is well presented and taste is excellent. i would highly recommend this for families, couples or just a drop in. see photos

My favourite pub in the whole world!! my goodness i pray i get to own and live in this place one day! haha the vibe - just amazing! friendly, welcoming and warm. such a chilled environment where you can relax and enjoy great drinks and food. the staff - all the staff smile and are happy to help. the food - oh my!!! gorgeous and such great value. the drinks - i’ve never had a bad pint!!! and the pepsi is great. only downside - it’s not great access for disabled people but i’m sure they’d open the bottom door if asked. i cannot recommend this place enough and i encourage anyone to visit (as long as your not a dipstick - don’t want anyone to spoil the vibe).
