One of hulls best. the pub is full of history and character, cozy comfortable seating serving great beers.
Stunning pub and a good pint too. not much conversation from the staff but a very pleasant experience overall. had a good outdoor area too with plenty of sun mid-afternoon
The ye olde white hart is the most historic and famous pub in hull. dating back to before the english civil war the pub is regarded as the place where the english civil war began. it was in an upstairs rome known as the plotting chamber where the leaders of the city decided to lock the gates to keep out king charles l, this is regarded as the beginning of the english civil war. the pub itself has a fantastic listed interior, with some very nice stained glass windows. there is a nice outside covered drinking area in the courtyard. there is an excellent selection of beers and largers and some very nice cask conditioned hand pulled real ale. it is a fantastic cosy pub. highly recommended.
Good historical pub, but the back room could be finished off a bit more where the little bar was... the hanging baskets used to be beautiful, but there are non this year... hope they put but of effort in and get the hanging baskets back.
This is one of hull's oldest pubs. it is very atmospheric, with original wood work on the inside. with interesting decor. the bar staff are nice, friendly and polite. the bar and seating area is kept clean and tidy. it's a nice quiet bar to drink in. drinks are reasonably priced with a good selection to choose from.
