It is definitely worth a visit. the garden is a paradise for kids. the hall is magnificent. the staff are friendly, enthusiastic and knowledgeable; i suggest you to strike up a conversation with them, and if you have a chance, take part in an organised tour (not all of them are suitable for small children though). highly recommended
Second visit after a year, and was nice! quite small, but a lot to look at and learn from the inside the house. gardens were quite plain, but meant there was more opportunity for picnics and kids …
