National Trust - Speke Hall, Garden and Estate

It is definitely worth a visit. The garden is a paradise for kids. The hall is magnificent. The staff are friendly, enthusiastic and knowledgeable; I suggest you to strike up a conversation with them, and if you have a chance, take part in an organised tour (not all of them are suitable for small children though). Highly recommended

Second visit after a year, and was nice! Quite small, but a lot to look at and learn from the inside the house. Gardens were quite plain, but meant there was more opportunity for picnics and kids …
