Ox Club

I have been here for sunday roasted once and very enjoyed the food and vibe here. Last week, I decided to come here again to celebrate my birthday with friends. All dishes were very nice as last time. The atmosphere was also calm and relaxed. The price was a bit pricey but it’s worth the quality. However, I wished the waitress could be more sincere to customers. My friend brought the birthday cake and was told to be charged £7. The bill finally came with £7 per head, which means £35 charge for five of us for bringing the birthday cake. We don’t mind to pay this amount but we wished the staff explained to us straightforward.

I would give them 4.5 if I could. The starters and mains were delicious however the main went cold quickly due to the plate not being warm. I generally avoid things with truffle but the cauliflower cheese with truffle was delicious. Unfortunately I was disappointed with the Basque cheesecake as it was overbaked which made it quite solid. The staff were attentive and friendly but they ought to tell you when you're seated how long you have the table for as I don't think the booking system mentions this. I would definitely eat here again on the strength of the starters and mains.

Great food with a wonderful cozy ambiance. As soon as you walk in you're greeted with the wonderful smell of the food, instant appetite! Staff is very friendly and knowledgeable, also about allergies/intolerances. They took great care of my brothers lactose intolerance and this in turn gives us a relaxed evening haha :) We had (amongst other dishes) the bone marrow, pate and the cote beouf. All great choices! We'll definitely come again next time we're in Leeds. Only "downside" is you need to know where it is or use google maps, on headrow street there's a pass through to the inner courtyard. On the outside you'll only see "FU" signs (one of the other establishments in the same building).

We requested the Chef’s table and it was great seeing the food being prepared. The food was amazing can’t fault it - beautiful flavours and texture. Definitely will return 5*

Regular returner to Ox Club. The Feed is always good. The Service is always great. The chop night is a delight but the Alpine Chop night was out of this world. You will not be disappointed with a trip to Ox. Exceptional meat dishes, the schnitzel and the short beef rib were amazing. So much flavour, so moist and the quality is so high. All sides were delicious! The baked Alaska was just a complete delight!
