A walk in the bark

Miranda has been walking my cocker spaniel Polo for a few months now. He loves his walks with her and always comes home tired and ready for a snooze! Miranda is really flexible and tries her best to accommodate our needs each week rather than us having to have set days all the time. I can't recommend Miranda enough, Polo and I are really happy we found A Walk in the Bark!

Can't recommend Miranda enough. She is absolutely brilliant with our mad puppy, understands her needs and clearly has a passion for dogs. Our pup loves her and always comes back from her walks happy, tired and content. She is flexible and very reasonably priced.

I have a large and strong dog. He's a 7 year old Lurcher and a rescue, and when I first got him almost a year ago he came with lots of issues, one of which being his extreme reactivity to other dogs. When I was first looking for a dog walker I was worried that they would be reluctant to walk a large, strong, reactive dog, but Miranda didn't even bat an eyelid: she was more than happy to walk him and has been great! My pup has zero social skills and just does not know how to behave around other dogs, and so he lashes out. His aggression is founded in fear and anxiety though, and Miranda has been awesome in helping to expose him to other dogs and reduce his reactivity. Miranda started walking him with his muzzle, but now he is out on daily group walks, without his muzzle and having the most amazing time! My pup is now a totally different dog, and he is getting better and better on a daily basis. It makes me truly happy to see that he is starting to have doggy friends! It used to break my heart when he got excited by other dogs but just couldn't get close enough to play with them. I could not recommend Miranda enough! Amazing 5* Better than I could have ever wished for, Miranda is one very special lady - she is like the dog whisperer of the North, she lives for dogs and her business, if you want an exceptional service and a very happy hound then this is the service you need to use. My girl has been with a walk in the bark for 5 months, my girl goes crazy to go out with Miranda and the pack, she loves it, always comes home very happy and tired. There is always videos or pics up of the walks so you can see your dog having fun. Miranda is very experienced with dogs, training and dog behaviour, naturally very caring lady, 100% reliable and flexible , great with communication and loves the dogs just as much as their owners do. Miranda and a walk in the bark have been an absolute godsend to us, we wholeheartedly recommend to all, 3 of my friends now also use this service after seeing the amazing service we receive - A Walk in the Bark Leeds - we love you xxx

Miranda is an excellent dog walker. I highly recommend her - my dog loves her and loves the pack walks he goes on with her. He is only a puppy and his confidence and sociability has grown so much since walking with. Miranda also helped me out with puppy visits to start with which really helped my dog get used to her before he was able to go out.
