Just had my hair cut by Nick, will now not go anywhere else. He's so knowledgeable about curly hair and explained the whole process of the cut and why he was doing what he was doing at various stages. My hair feels much lighter and the curl pattern is now present from root to end. Minimal product used so I'm confident in recreating this style at home. All staff were incredibly friendly and the salon is gorgeous. I look forward to my next cut here!

Nick is an amazing, creative and knowledge hair stylist. He knows how curly hair behaves and how to cut it, also providing advice on how it needs to be treated. I watched in amazement at his cutting technique, explanation of the process, and delivering an excellent result. Very grateful to have made his acqatence, he is an expert of curly hair.

I had a lovely time at the salon everyone was very welcoming and chatty. I was happy with my hair initially but it wasn't completely what I asked for in terms of the tone of purple and root smudge. I wasn't sure at the time if I was being too picky but after going to a different salon I realised it wasn't worth the £250 that I paid (with student discount) - important to note my hair started off blonde and I had a cut so it was a full transformation. The root smudge was quite far from my scalp (I did mention this at the time) and was basically in a line not a smudge. I couldn't really notice it at first as the purple dye covered my dark hair a bit but after a couple of washes I noticed it but wasn't sure if that was how it was supposed to look. The 3rd picture is 6 weeks after the appointment (there is regrowth but my point is about the smudge and how it should have grown out nicely so I didn't have to get the roots done every 6 weeks as that was the whole point of it!). It looks like it been growing out for months not 6 weeks! Also the colour turned out pinky purple not cool toned purple like I asked for very specifically. As you can see in the first image my hair did look lovely but just wasn't worth the price for me for the above reasons so I wouldn't go back.

Aged 54, I had my first ever curly hair specialist experience with Nick yesterday. Transforming, enlightening and fun. He had a job on his hands and I'm delighted with my thinned out, better shaped, natural curls which will now only be requiring conditioner to rinse and style!! Relieved by the result which 'could go either way', re; which side my hair falls to!! I thoroughly recommend Nick for his knowledge, skills, expertise and warm welcoming approach. Ty.
