Visited today, kids loved the park and cafe, food was spot on, clean, fresh not overpriced like the ice cream van. my lad caught at least 8 fish was only there an hour or two.
Not a bad bike park really needs some local volunteers to help maintain it as it's a bit sketchy in some places due to poor maintenance but it is a free bike park so the people that do look after it do the best they can nice food at cafe and not a bad little bike shop for all your essentials
Beautiful park and forest area which extends right across to the leeds urban bike park. there are planned trails giving you the option of a short 1km walk right up to 5 or 6 km’s. dog friendly with both tarmac and hard packed walking paths. can get quite muddy in the winter months, but nothing a half decent pair of walking shoes can’t handle. near the main car park (free to park) is a large children’s play area, tennis and basketball courts, 2 table tennis tables and a visitors centre packed with local info and a great little café with both in and outdoor seating.
The picnic area is strategically situated within the park, offering visitors a tranquil spot to relax and enjoy the scenic beauty. whether you're looking to have a peaceful afternoon with your loved ones or gather with friends for a fun-filled picnic, middleton park's picnic area provides ample space and facilities to accommodate everyone's needs. with its well-maintained grassy lawns, shaded seating areas, and convenient picnic tables, the park offers a comfortable and inviting atmosphere for picnickers. you can spread out a blanket on the soft grass, bask in the sunshine, and savor a homemade feast while surrounded by the park's natural splendor.
The beauty of this park extends beyond its natural elements. the laughter of children on a playground, paths winds their way through the park, guiding your footsteps and revealing hidden treasures along the way.
