You've just bought a house at auction, and you aren't a property developer with ten lines of debt financing credit. You have to complete in 20 days, or you get sued for failure to complete. Oh, you also need a mortgage. And the property is Grade 2 listed. In a conservation area. And the vendor refuses to reply, and there's no chance for proper survey. The internet says you need to find a partner, or someone in business for 20 years. Just call Michelle. She understood the risk immediately, took it seriously, was available on the phone to answer our worries on a daily basis (try getting a partner at an old established firm to do that - you won't get past their secretary). Honestly. One of the best decisions we made this year, and our tardy review is the least we could do (frankly I should order a bottle of champagne and send it over, but I just hope that she gets well rewarded for a few more superb bits of conveyancing that happened because you read this review). Top stuff. We were lucky to find her. I hope you are too.
