Konak Meze Turkish Restaurant

Booked an outdoor table, as it was the first warm weekend of the year. very friendly and helpful staff. service was prompt. we had a mixed cold meze platter, with some additional falafel and feta parcels for starters. for mains, we tried aubergine stuffed with minced lamb and tomatoes, a chicken cooked in tomato/garlic sauce in a pancake basket with cheese topping and a stuffed aubergine dish. couldn't fault any dish, all very flavoursome and well presented. liked the atmosphere sat outside on the pavement. will definitely return.

Great food, great sevice. two of us carnivores shared the very tasty mixed grill, our vegetarian friend was very happy with his meal and the feta filo parcels went down well, as did the bread and hummus. and a couple of spicy sausages. a very pleasant house wine from turkey was a perfect accompaniment. even with the road a few metres away sitting outside it felt relaxed and friendly, almost like being on holiday.

The staff are friendly and the atmosphere is chilled and relaxing.. the food is absolutely gorgeous tasty and made fresh really lovely little family place you won't be disappointed....

A nice place to visit in the centre of horsforth. a very full menu with plenty of choice for everyone. the shared starter had lots of everything on it and it was good to have a try of all sorts. the mains were okay and the whole meal was very filling. our only disappointment was that the meal deal wasn't on and this wasn't explained to us until we came to order.

Took my partner for his birthday on a beautiful warm summer evening. staff were lovely and made us feel so welcome. food was really good and the atmosphere was happy and very relaxed. our first time at a turkish restaurant but not our last. we will definitely be back. thsnks guys!!
