Mr Mackerel

While mackeral is an option it's their chicken and lamb that seems most popular. Various options are available including wraps, sandwiches, boxed meals with salad and rice (or chips) and so on. I had the lamb and rice box for £6.50 and enjoyed it but I wouldn't consider it to be stand-out compared with the same sort of thing from other vendors nearby. It was very busy so service was a little delayed and seating incredibly limited but it's worth a go if you happen to be in the area.

An absolute hidden gem in Leeds. I opted for the lamb kofta sandwich meal. Oh my it was absolutely delicious. The options of fresh salads, sauces and condiments take the food to the ultimate next level. Seriously rather than paying silly prices for high end restaurants in Leeds city centre visit the market. I paid £6 for the meal. Well worth it the portion was huge. Definitely will visit again. I've been told the chicken shish and rice is also extremely delicious.

Highly recommended!!!!! I picked the Mackerel Salad, the smells and tastes of grill mackerel is amazing, very delicious. I will definitely come again.

Fish is fresh, the salad too. What more can you ask. Delicious mackerel sandwich. Market Place eating area is excellent.
