Emily Farncombe Upholstery

Emily has made a superb job of reupholstering our two sofas and chair. Every scrap of fabric and foam was removed, leaving only the wooden frames and the feather-filled back cushions, before replacing with new. She even loaned us a sofa to use while ours were in her workshop.

Delighted! Our chair looks like new and feels even more comfortable now! Emily has a great eye for colour and textures. Thank you Emily 😊

Emily has created some beautiful furniture for us. The workmanship is excellent with a high attention to detail. There is a huge choice of fabrics from well known designers and Emily provides useful advice to help the process. We have had cushions for two chairs and a matching footstool, a settee, cushions for dining chairs and a cushion for a bench seat over the years and have been thrilled with each one. We would highly recommend this business.

I cannot recommend Emily and her team enough. I had inherited an antique chair that was in need of some TLC. I took it in to be reupholstered, however, Emily her team pretty much rebuilt the entire chair, cleaned it up, re padded it and added an incredible fabric. Emily is very friendly and full of ideas but I am most impressed by the quality of the work. The chair looks amazing and feels really comfortable. Communication was amazing throughout and, considering the amount of work, it was done in a quick timeframe. If you have any upholstery needs at all, Emily must be your first port of call! Very professional, knowledgable, friendly and a true expert. Plus, her workshop feels like you’re walking into “The Repair Shop”, which is just lovely!!
