We are so happy to have had our log burner and chimney liner checked and fully cleaned. also so happy about the new part fitted! alex was amazing! on time and worked really hard on our beast of a log burner that is now safe to use again. we will be back (with a much easier job next time) and remember the coffee alex not the painful log burner 😁

We used alex and his son to install two fireplaces in june 2023 as well as assist with sweeping earlier this year. from start to finish they were excellent; transparent and open with their advice, providing thorough recommendations on fireplaces to review. the installation was excellent and they left the house spotless. i cannot recommend them enough.

Alex came out to clean 2 of our chimneys and take a look at our log burner that was burning too ferociously. we had previously had someone else look at the log burner with no luck. alex not only fixed the log burner, but explained in detail and showed me where air was getting in from many gaps. alex then fixed the door seal and the gaps, replaced a broken brick and now i am happy to report that i now have a log burner working perfectly! alex kept the area extremely clean and tidy whilst sweeping the chimneys. very friendly and polite. highly recommend thurnby chimney sweeps and will be using their services in the future and wouldn't use anyone else! thanks again, claudia at the old black horse inn.
