Knighton Dental Practice

Receptionists are always polite and pleasant, surgery is fresh, clean and well fitted out. both the hygienists and the dentists rooms are comfortable with good lighting and the welcome chat with both is friendly. always been very happy with the treatments i’ve received and the sound advice.

The reception staff were so friendly and organized. i had my check up and it went so smoothly. i wasn't in there for much longer than 5 minutes and afterwards i just got recommendations, no pressure to book anything. would highly recommend.

I had a bad experience with my last dental hygienist appointment, and was very pleasantly surprised on this appointment. the dentist was very warm and friendly. i felt she really took her time and explained what she was doing. she also took the time to show me what i was doing wrong with my own dental hygiene. i would recommend.

My tooth had broken and i was experiencing some tooth pain. i was offered an appointment very quickly and efficiently. my treatment was pain free and i was given all my options which were available. even though i am a nhs patient i opted for a cerec crown which is not included withing nhs charges. during my appointment my dentist talked me through everything they were doing and made me feel very relaxed. i would highly recommend this practice. i have many friends and family members who also attend. knighton dental practice is location is easily accessible. there was parking available along the side streets and outside of the practice. be mindful of what times you park within the bus lanes though. inside the practice it was very modern and they offers a wide range of treatments such as invisalign, composite bonding, dental implants, teeth whitening, routine treatments and much more. the practice offers both nhs and private dentistry. there were two floors within the building with surgeries on both levels which provided access to all patients needs during appointments. the front of house were very friendly and welcoming and there was very little wait for my appointments. all the staff were very friendly and helpful. the practice offers a wide range of state of the art technology, they have x-rays which are digital. once my x-rays were taken they were visible within minutes, to view and discuss with my dentist. as mentioned, they offer crowns in a day using something called prime scan, with having this digital scan instead of gooey messy impressions. with a prime scan they explained to me that this allowed my dentist to take a digital impression of my teeth. my crown was then made at my same appointment and fitted. which saved me having to book further appointments. there was also an itero scanner available which scans teeth. after checking out their website, it explained this digital scanner can create a simulation to show how teeth could look after invisalign treatment before even committing to it. my husband has also recently completed his invisalign teeth straightening treatment at knighton dental and he has never looked back. it was the best decision he ever made, the only thing he wishes he would have done was that he had the treatment done years ago !!! he was a very nervous patient but was made to feel at ease during all of his dental appointments. his was so impressed with his treatment that he recommends knighton dental to everyone and doesn’t stop smiling :) my husband found invisalign treatment was a great teeth straightening option. as he had to wear clear aligners, they were less visible to everyone that when he spoke to people on a daily basis they didn’t even know he was having any treatment. appointments at the practice can be booked via their online appointment system or by calling their receptionist. we both recommend knighton dental highly to everyone!!

I highly recommend dentist amit! he was very kind, explained the root canal and crown procedure thoroughly, and made sure i was comfortable throughout. the process was surprisingly quick, and i honestly regret not coming to him sooner. his assistant anna was also lovely and supportive. a fantastic experience overall!
