Bertie Dog Training

The class was small and the trainer was very knowledgeable. he had most of the owners much more confident with their puppies in a relatively short time. i was very impressed with the professionalism and consistency of instructions

We had tried a couple of different dog trainers prior to going to bertie dog training, without success and we were dubious about trying another, however we need not have worried as nij used completely different techniques to those previously taught to us and we saw good results even after the first session. nij is very straight talking and tells you exactly what your doing wrong, but he really helped us get some great results, we'd definitely recommend.

A great experience sitting in a puppy training session. very knowledgeable trainer who gave the small group positive demonstration of how consistentcy is the key. every puppy owner has obvious positive improvement with their puppies and it seemed a good experience for everyone.

Had 4 one to one sessions with nij for our labradoodle puppy. found nij to be very informative and straight talking offering great advice to help train our puppy. he showed us how to work with our puppy and explained the logic behind his training method which we found very useful. we would recommend nij to any new puppy owners.

I’ve had a 4 week sheep worrying course with nij with my jack russell terrier. i hadn’t taught him not to chase, and nij has helped me consolidate all the basics with my dog that basically held me to ransom. nij has an absolute wealth of experience and his explanations were very clear and his analogies really helped me to understand. i never thought my jrt would walk calmly near sheep let alone lie down next to a pen of them. my terrier still tries me out but i have a tool kit in place now to tell him i’m in charge. he is a much happier dog and so much more relaxed. thank you
