Just been through the introduction to digital marketing session with ann at annica. great course with lots of important information that was presented in an easy to understand way. great start to the course.

Very indepth session around social media campaigns this morning. i'm new to this, so will need to watch again, but extremely useful. 19/05/23 just attended a webinar on pr and ai by amy hayward-paine - excellent in both content and presentation. the friday webinars annica run are a great source of information and food for thought.

Excellent ga4 training run by ed. really practical and clear. so much more accessible than other sessions i've attended. highly recommend!

Email marketing - this session would improve if there was less narrative on the slides and more imagery. there's a lot to cover and since most people in the course according to the poll were unfamiliar with email marketing they are highly unlikely not to have an automated email marketing system and probably using generic email systems like outlook or similar. therefore, it would have been beneficial to show people how to create a campaign manually, rather than automated which were template driven. this doesn't have to be mass marketing which becomes spam because you can have a campaign to a small dataset that is just as effective. would also be great if the hosts knew exactly what the answers were to the quizzes at the end of each module but obviously leave us the viewers to make the mistakes.
