Favourite restaurant in Leicester which made us fall in love with Turkish food so much that we ended up planning a trip to Turkey while sitting here, and all through Istanbul and Antalya kept missing Konak’s food because nothing would compare! The meat is juicy, the portion sizes are huge, the service is amazing. You get complimentary bread and salad at the start of your meal and then complimentary Turkish tea at the end of it. We order the combo shish every time and love it to the last bite. Already planning to visit again on our anniversary

Had to wait around 30 mins for a table as it was busy but there was an empty table at the back it may have been booked but I didn't ask. We ordered a variety of dishes, all of it was fresh and tasty. A bit on the pricey side for me and service could have been better. One time visit with family was good.

Excellent service. Everyone we interacted with was very professional, friendly, and genuinely well trained in the field of good customer service. Only went for dessert on this occasion. Found it really good. Lovely, proper Turkish tea, nice kunafa. Will be definitely coming back and looking forward to trying out the mains. What let's it down is the fact place is very crammed. The table next to ours was not even arm length away. Also, as we were asked to move the table, it was very difficult for an expecting woman to navigate to the new table trying to squeeze in between other tables back to back. Being on London Road red route parking is an issue as well.
