The Strugglers inn

A proper pub, lovely building full of character inside, choice of ales was good and tasted great. Seems to be popular with a regular clientele and casual visitors.

Argyle on tour! Just scraped a draw against The Imps!. Super real ale pub both before and after the match. Nice hospitality from staff and a really good atmosphere. You just need to be fit enough to climb the steep hill up past the cathedral to enjoy it!!

We were made to feel so welcome and the dog was treated like a celebrity, very dog friendly! Tried all of the guest beers and there was a nice varied selection, all in perfect condition, plus the service was great. The staff were friendly and kept on top of things even though it was busy.
