Stanley Park Church Liverpool

I have attended this church for a number of years, the people are a very friendly and welcoming group. The teaching is Bible based using the King James version only.

Stanley Park is a strong,faithful, biblically sound independent Evangelical Church located in the Walton/Everton area of Liverpool. The gospel is faithfully preached alongside strong biblical principals /teachings each week by Pastor Eddie Roberts. If you are looking for a local church that teaches biblical truth, that is not watered down, then this is the church for you. Everyone is very friendly and will be happy to see you. Whether you are young or not so young, you will be given a very warm welcome. Sunday services are at 11.00 am & 6.30 pm. Why not come along and see for yourself. Don't worry that we are all strangers because strangers are only friends you haven't met yet.

Pastor Eddie and I have both humbled ourselves and Pastor Eddie now admits he has been "too dogmatic" I pointed out to him that although there is dogma much of his preaching is confidence in the scriptures and I compliment him here on his superb knowledge of scripture and I publicly compliment Pastor Eddie that because he is good on the basics there will surely be people walking the streets of gold because of his bravery in preaching a simple [and simple is best] gospel message. Pastor Eddies treatment of me [and my treatment of him] is suddenly so much more glorifying to God I will feast on a few extra slices of humble pie Confession is good for the soul whereas dogma can bulldoze confidence in the scriptures well lets describe it this way The entrance of thy words giveth light; it giveth understanding unto the simple. [psalm 119v130] Thank you for your prayers Can you pray generous Jesus Christ blesses me with a few extra slices of humble pie [I am serious about this] Finally a verse which has spoke to me but is not from KJV A proud look [the spirit that makes one overestimate himself and underestimate others], a lying tongue, and hands that shed innocent blood, [Classic Amplified Proverbs ch6v17]

Stanley Park Church (under the ministry of Eddie our Pastor) has grown greatly in numbers over the past 18 months. This is no coincidence, the message that is preached is strongly biblical, it is THE Gospel. Sunday Services are held morning and evening, always with plenty of people staying behind after the evening service for a cup of tea and a chat. Bible Study is held Wednesday evenings and is highly recommended, especially for those who are new to the faith or have question, there is plenty of help to allow you to understand what the word of God is teaching us. If you are looking to find Salvation through Christ, disregard any other churches that preach tradition, superstition, notions of good works in exchange for favour with God and hear the word of the bible preached simply and authentically.
