Dogs Trust Dog School Merseyside

Our new rescue dog needed help with lead training and other problems requiring more specialist help from a qualified behaviourist. We had to book 121 session because he couldn’t cope with other dogs The lead training session was useful and the individualised behaviour plan is ongoing. It’s early days but we are seeing the rewards of the practice sessions and he is making progress. We didn’t fully appreciate that dog rescue services (especially from outside UK) are mostly all volunteers and so post adoption support can be limited. The training and advice provided by Merseyside Dogs Trust has been very helpful indeed and well worth the additional cost. Much appreciated thanks!

Puppy training was a great experience for our 4 month old puppy. We feel that she's learned a lot from the experience, she is definitely more patient now and better at loose lead walking! Katie and Kayleigh were really friendly, patient, and helpful with practical tips. We will be booking on to future workshops to continue the training!

Just completed the puppy training course at haskayne. Absolutely amazing! I've always felt that dog training is as much training the owner as it is training our dogs. I have learnt so much. I opted for the face to face. The trainers are so knowledgeable, supportive and helpful and arranged an online catch up for a week that I missed. Big thank you! We learnt so much at puppy training and feel so much more confident with Diamond's training. Our instructors were so knowledgeable and helpful!! We can see a massive improvement in Diamond and how much he listens to us since attending puppy school! I'm definitely going to look into the adolescent classes.
