I would just like to praise natalie from the gateacre branch, regarding the arrangements for my mums funeral. nothing was too much trouble at all, she was very professional and caring throughout, also phil the head funeral director with his calm & caring nature. also the appointment of gill briscoe the minster, she was outstanding from start to finish with every detail catered for. thank you all involved with the service. paul reeves

Natalie & the rest @ desmond l bannon’s gateacre branch, thank you all so much for the way in which myself and my partner were dealt with, we had lost our baby at 22 weeks (+1) of pregnancy and the hospital contacted this funeral directors and everything from there was a breeze (as much as it could be in our circumstances). such lovely customer service, such lovely souls doing a hard job and made our planning for our sleeping baby’s funeral 10x easier. also a mention to alan (if the name is wrong i’m so sorry) who was our driver for the service he was absolutely amazing in explaining what will happen throughout the day and was just a pleasure. thank you. carrigan&brandon, kit’s mummy and daddy x

Fantastic service provided by bannon funeral directors. i was advised by the hospital who took care of our brother, david, until he died to choose an independant funeral director if possible and i would always advise this now to anyone who is looking for a first class service that won't cost you a fortune! when someone close passes away you are never in a good place are you and yet all the staff i dealt with, especially natalie at bannons, gateacre, were so supportive and handheld us throughout the whole process. even to the small details on the day when all bannon's staff wore red ties commemorating liverpool fc (our david's team :)) and flew liverpool fc flags from the hearse. thank you bannons - you really helped make the day one of celebration of our david's full and fantastic life!

We recently suffered the loss of an elderly relative. he had passed away at a nursing home during the early hours of the morning. we received the news and immediately contacted bannon’s. i had expected to speak to an answer machine at that time, but spoke to a staff member who was both compassionate and professional. within the hour we received a very comforting call that our loved one was now in the care of bannon’s. later the same day we met with natalie at gateacre. she explained everything and helped us through the arrangements with care and sensitivity. on the day of the funeral michael greeted my family and i at the the crematorium. he was reassuring to my wife, and put her at ease. the funeral service was conducted by a celebrant, val, who did an excellent job. many thanks to bannon’s who made a difficult time so much easier.

Excellent service from start to finish from sarah and michael. ours wasn't a straightforward funeral because the next of kin lives in the usa. bannons overcame all of the potential problems prior to the day of the funeral. the actual funeral was managed in a dignified and efficient manner by michael. thank you so much.
