Wynsors World of Shoes

I visited this shop today, got there at 9:30 this morning to get school shoes for my daughters. 3 members of staff behind the counter greeted us and really welcomed us as we walked through the doors. It really made me feel great and even my 2 daughters giggled with happiness. Worked in retail for 30+ years and always think of good customer service. Service like this is so lovely, even when I was paying at the counter they were so lovely. I often shop in here and never had a bad experience.

Although shopping experience was good and I got what I wanted staff could have been bit more friendlier

Went to return a pair of pumps, place was looking clean, couldn't see any covid 19 precautions. But this isn't the worst I experienced, a couple of really old pensioners were paying for a pair of shoes, the lady serving them needs a lesson on customer service, so rude she was the price on the shoe's was more than advertised and she told the old guy this in a abrupt tone and when he was asking why he was told that they were £1 more he was unsure. The lady took his money and when the old guy questioned his change, she snarled at him "it's a pound more " and the old couple left she turned to a member of staff and then shaked her head for everyone to see, just cause she had a mood on. No need to take out on the customers. Then when I asked to return my items she rolled her eyes up, then asked another member of staff if they were accepting returns. She accepted this abruptly and no good customer service here. Absolutely shocking to see. I will not be shopping here again. No wonder the shop was quiet, good customer service and care is the key to everything (unless you can pick and choose your customers). I would advise anyone who values our older generation to give this a big miss. One word for this place - AWFUL.

Good selection for all needs. Suits all budgets and has a good range of bags, purses, and socks too. Great accessible parking and friendly staff.

Got my Dad a pair of strap over Kickers shoes for less than they are in city centre shops...there sellection of trainers is better than any sports shop I have been to...great shoe shop and very friendly staff...would highly recommend
