Emily has been my main point of contact and has ‘held my hand’ throughout. The company is very easy to deal with and they work as a team characterised by excellent communication, creativity, value for money and results.

We worked with Detailed Planning on a large outbuilding project, and their professionalism and responsiveness throughout the planning process were excellent. Their team handled the submission, communication with the local authority, and the design coordination efficiently and transparently, keeping our objectives aligned. From a contractor’s standpoint, we found their drawings to be well-detailed and practically executable, with clear annotations that made site coordination straightforward. Their proactive approach to addressing planning officer queries and their willingness to collaborate on technical solutions helped maintain programme momentum and avoid unnecessary delays. We would be happy to collaborate with Detailed Planning again on future projects. A competent and approachable team with a good balance between design ambition and build ability.
