Very well organized museum! Quality artworks, especially the works by Turner! I’m so happy to be able to see so many Turner’s works from different period! The personal in the museum are professional and helpful! It’s free to visit all the collections! No reservation is needed!

Enjoyed a happy couple of hours exploring this gallery. We visited a temporary exhibition which we had to book (and pay for). It was fabulous and good value in my view. The free, permanent collection is also fantastic with most of Britain’s greatest artists represented. The Turner collection is particularly strong. The facilities are very good.

Very nice and clean. Staff are okay I guess. The pieces are nice also. Very good place to take photos for content creators as long as they’re respectful of the art. Not a huge fan of British art museums but the rooms containing mythical creature artworks caught my attention and was a different touch than the traditional.

Amazing collections of British art. The Turner’s Rooms would be enough to make a museum. At the time of my visit, Rothko murals are exhibited near Turner - the light is too low to fully appreciate them though - clearly it’s for conservation, but I wish another solution was possible. Also on at the time of my visit, the Procession by Hew Locke (Tate commission). Impressive and thoughtful.

I love a good gallery. Tate Britain is one I have not visited for a very long time. The space is astonishing. The Procession by Hew Locke was breathtaking. A massive installation occupying the central hall drew you in. You wanted to drift along absorbing the different tableaus that made up the whole. It was beautiful and disturbing, celebratory and challenging. I loved that you could engage at the macro and micro. Everywhere you looked there was a moment. So striking. The other galleries were equally brilliant with a fantastic range of different pieces from across time and geography. Highly recommended. Food is also very good and we were made to feel really welcome by all the staff. A great place to visit.
