I have never been here before and i wasn't disappointed. beautiful place and a lovely atmosphere. the service was good and we never felt pressure to hurry or to take our orders. we wanted to taste as many things as possible so we ordered a mixture of dim sum. we tried things we never had before which didn't always go in our favour but its good to taste new flavours and have new experiences. i loved the wasabi and prawn dumpling i was worried the wasabi would be really overpowering but it was just perfect! also really enjoyed the calamari with chilli, garlic and peppercorn salt. and the crispy lobster dumpling was a first for me and i was not disappointed. the mini rib in black bean sauce was not for me unfortunately but it maybe popular with others. but definitely no short of options for everyone's taste! we washed it all down with a pot of jasmine tea. overall we loved our experience here and definitely recommend!
Really an authentic cantonese restaurant in london!!! feel like i stay in hk lol. all dishes are delicious! the crispy duck is crispy and flavourful recommend! the chinese broccoli is stirred well. it is good for dining with family and reunions! highly recommended!
This is a decent chinese (cantonese) restaurant with a wide range choice of food available to choose including dim sun serving for dinner. dim sum is served for lunch but not dinner, but i am not complaining. wine list is decent enough for a chinese restaurant to be honest. food is good but a bit pricey but i am happy to pay for the food. the decor is a bit too red for my liking, more like a western perception of the far east oriental, but it is still tasteful. the only issue i have is the paper napkins. with the price of the food, i would expect something more high end than some paper napkins. service is ok, nothing too wow about it, just a usual chinese restaurant service standard. food 8.5/10, ambience 8/10, service 7/10, value for money 8/10. a restaurant i would come back again.
3.5 stars. large chinese restaurant close to baker street tube station. interior is clean and tastefully decorated and has a pleasant ambiance. i was less impressed with the food. is was ok, but didn’t match the surroundings or expectations. crispy pork was not all that crispy (why on earth put salad on top to spoil the crispy skin?), tofu portion was on the small side and the spicy lamb had a little too much vinegar for my liking. the dishes were tasty enough, but could have been better. however, i should mention that the service was excellent - fast, friendly and patient.
This is an amazing chinese restaurant. the food is tasty, the service was very good with just the right amount of attentiveness shown, and no sense of rushing us to finish. we enjoyed the chicken with black bean sauce and the crispy beef with chili. we also had fried rice. the portions are good size and we did not leave hungry. we also had some tea and desert which i recommend to wind up a delicious meal. my wife enjoyed the lemon sorbet and i had the coconut pudding which is more like a coconut custard. both were very good. we highly recommend this restaurant, and as you will see, it is very well decorated. this is our new go to chinese restaurant when we are in london.
