There is an excellent gentleman on Door Security at Heals. His name is Celestine and when we were about to leave he showed us the area we had missed out on. He is very efficient and friendly with great social skills. A real credit If you need to know anything, Celestine is your man

Heals is one of the originals that stocks the full gamut of tasteful home furnishings from tableware to furniture. The staff are very helpful and informed about everything sold. I go in every few weeks and I do not see many customers. Pls shop here and keep this iconic shop open.

Went to order a new table and chairs. Service is great, nicely efficient and well spoken staff. Gave me all the information I needed to order. This place is a bit pricey and the lead time on large bits of furniture are in the range of 10-15 weeks eg. My solid wooden table and chairs.

Heals is having a massive refit. But they retain their essential coolness. I have been a customer for 30 plus years now. Their staff are as polite and charming if you buy a mug or a sofa. Also they have literally the best delivery service in the world. They bring in whatever you bought, chair bench table whatever. Unwrap it, assemble it, check it. Take away all the packaging and complement your cats and house. It costs a lot of money but it is worth it. I wish Heals was the government of this benighted country. And I was saving this until the end. The statue of the Heals cat on the stairs grants wishes if you touch its feet! It's made of bronze so doesn't get damaged.
