Me and my mate are only 16 and visited for our second time .. the front till lady watched us repeatedly fail to pay for a pre workout shot (card wasn’t working) and as well as this, try not once, not twice but three times to pay for a locker and she had immense patience and was happy to help all whilst managing the front desk. She also was kind enough to give me 60 pence at the expense for 3 attempts to close the locker. As we left after a great session, she also made sure we navigated the gym well and asked if we got the full experience as we signed out. Top class gym, top class experience. 10 10 💯💯

My first time visiting Muscle Works in East London and what a treat. The staff were friendly and super helpful. The membership fee is great value for money. The equipment they have is amazing. You are spoilt for choice. From Hack Squats to Stair Climbers for those who want that 🍑. It's spread over 2 floors. Legs and cardio upstairs and the whole of the ground floor for upper body and free weights. The members are super friendly and approachable. They even have hot tasty dishes for when you want to get your proteins in. I even met the Owner, Sav, who was sweet and humble. I highly recommend this gym for all types. The beginners and the heavy hitters. Day passes are like £6.50. You cannot go wrong with this place. One of the BEST gyms in the UK. Check it out!!

Visiting from the US and wanted a bodybuilding gym, this was a great find! Day pass is only $6.50 USD. There’s plenty of equipment (main level chest and back/arms, upper half is a leg room, other half is a boxing room and cardio equipment). The staff were all very helpful, welcoming and friendly! Locker rooms/restrooms upstairs are small, but there’s a womens and mens single stall downstairs too. It was a good environment, hard workers all around.

Very good old school bodybuilding gym in East London. Everything you'd expect from that with pictures of pro bodybuilders around and a lot of different machines and freeweights. There's also a boxing gym upstairs which is really cool. Staff here are very friendly and helpful. There's a charge for the lockers (20p) but if you don't have that, the staff have on many occasions given me the money to use the lockers. They have clean changing rooms and shower space.. this however is communal and may not be to everyone's taste but I'm generally fine with that so not a problem personally. They sell clothing and supplements at the counter and protein rich meals for after workout refuelling. It's a mixed gym as well ladies and you see a lot of females using the gym. They seem to be comfortable and haven't noticed any guys being inappropriate. For guys who may feel like these type of gyms are intimidating, there's all sorts of fitness levels at this gym but obviously there's going to be a lot of really fit big guys who have been working on thier guns a lot longer. I think this is inspiring which is why I joined to push myself further. (I still hold my commercial gym membership) There's also a lot of personal trainers about as well if you need guidance and help with your sessions. I am currently using a personal trainer Timothy Timi, and he's very good and knowledgeable.
