City Spice - Best Indian restaurant in Brick Lane London

Good service. Naan, bhindi, lemon rice were good. Mutter paneer could be better, needs balance between mutter and paneer. It was all mutter. But the taste is good. They gave a complimentary lemonade. Prices are a little on higher side. Lacks restrooms.

Make sure you double check your bill! We were charged £49 for 2 curries, 1 rice, 2 breads and 2 soft drinks.. which was a surprise. We didn't have time to check before the credit card machine came out and we were hurried to pay. Totally our fault for not checking, but now realise we were over charged around £14. The food was nice, but this obviously left a sour taste.. maybe a genuine error, who knows.. but certainly not worth it at that price!

So much food, colour and even more different tastes to munch through. Great service but ... even with 20% off and a free beer, price came to £18 and some change. Bit much for lunch?

Food was delicious. Employee in front of the restaurant will talk to everyone passing by and lure them inside with pretty good deals. Inside was not very spacious, but we made it work. We were offered free drinks if we would post a 5 star review on Google. We would recommend for the food, that was really tasty.
