Visited the state rooms. absolutely beautiful! the tour was a media guided tour which gave a lot of information and a history of certain items. attention to detail in every room truely is amazing. i had afternoon tea in the garden after and the cakes were delicious, my son had ice-cream which he said was so good. there are a few kids activities to do after the tour which i thought was a really nice touch. huge gift shop too! would certainly recommend and can't wait to go back!
Buckingham palace truly embodies the grandeur and elegance associated with the british monarchy. as a historical landmark and a symbol of the united kingdom, it exceeded all my expectations. my visit to this iconic palace was an unforgettable experience. the moment i approached the palace gates, i was in awe of its architectural beauty and the regal atmosphere that enveloped the entire vicinity. the sprawling gardens, immaculately maintained, added to the enchanting ambiance. the changing of the guard ceremony was a highlight of my visit; witnessing the precision and pageantry left me feeling like i had stepped back in time. visiting buckingham palace is a must-do when in london. the combination of its historical significance, breathtaking architecture, and the chance to witness royal traditions firsthand make it an exceptional attraction. it truly is a gem in the heart of london, and i highly recommend adding it to your itinerary.
Buckingham palace is something you must see if you’re in london. i would definitely recommend buying tickets. there will be a queue to get in and you cannot take pictures inside the palace. the interior was impressive and the gardens were beautiful. i would recommend wearing comfortable walking shoes as the companions we were with complained almost the whole trip. we had tea on the back garden area. it was very crowded. i’m not sure this is something you must do as there are plenty of other options in london. if you’re going to see the changing of the guards arrive early so you can get a good view. again, our english companions were not interested in walking much or showing us a good time. needless to say, we do not even talk to these people anymore. we would have rather been by ourselves and explored this alone. we would have had a better time.
Buckingham palace is truly one of the most popular tourist destinations in london, and obviously for a very good reason. it's the official residence of the british monarchy (the queen), and it's absolutely massive and beautify built. i was really impressed with how well-kept everything was and how organized everything is. the gardens are so beautiful, and there's so much history inside and outside the palace. the changing of the guard ceremony was so beautiful and thousands of people were outside watching the ceremony. i would definitely recommend a visit if you're in london, it's a must see.
