I found Dr de Silva in my search for a surgeon with the requisite knowledge and skills to correct a cosmetic mistake made in my youth; and having been told that it would be a risky procedure with unpredictable results. Upon deciding to proceed, I found the whole process to be informative and well-managed from start to finish, from beneficial pre-operative steps to the all-important follow-up care. And throughout, I was always made to feel comfortable and valued by the surgery's efficient and caring staff. I'm very pleased with the final results of my procedure and I have Dr de Silva to thank.

Having Lower Blepharoplasty with Dr. De Silva gives you the benefit of years of experience, qualifications not only in the U.K. but also the U.S. and yet you don’t lose the gentle bedside manner from this doctor. From our first meeting, Dr. De Silva won me over because he gave me the time to obtain answers and explanations to all my questions in kind details, as many times as I needed! He understands that this is a huge decision and therefore doesn’t treat it like it’s just an appointment but a thorough consultation. This wonderful experience transcended from our first meeting through the surgery and beyond. I’m not sure how his team does it but they respond to emails with incredible speed, where you feel completely supported. The results are fabulous and my only regret is not having done this earlier for fear of pain or making a change to my face. It was surprisingly painless and my recovery so quick! I’m happy to have found a surgeon that I can build a relationship for the future if needed. I’m so grateful for the improvements you’ve created.

It took many years of research and a few visits to other surgeons before I finally found Dr De Silva! I’m so glad I did! As soon as I met him I knew immediately that I could trust him and that he would achieve the results I was looking for. My eye bags made me look tired and old! And although I’m 61, I looked older on the outside than I felt on the inside! As a wife, mum, and now Nana!!.. it felt a little self indulgent ‘having work’ done but I’m absolutely delighted with the results! I’m now almost 4 months post surgery and I look SO much better!… just a fresher, less haggard version of me! I was a very nervous patient but the whole team were amazing, very professional, caring and reassuring. The twilight sedation was fantastic! I don’t remember anything at all about the procedure and my recovery was pain free?! I had the best experience overall. All the staff are lovely but in particular Sarah. She is amazing at her job and one of the best people I’ve come across in a long time, she can’t do enough for you, very professional down to earth and genuine. Dr Silva is lovely too and you can ask him anything without judgement he also has a lot of time for his patients, he is extremely skilled and professional and I felt very comfortable in his care at all times. As soon as I visited and meet all the team I knew I wanted my surgery done here and I’m so glad I did. The surgery went well I didn’t feel a thing it was all very smooth and the aftercare was great. I am now just waiting to see the fully healed results which I’m confident about already! And it’s only been a week.
