Excellent facilities and very professional qualified staff. Rooms are good quality, some with en-suite. When i stayed (for 4 weeks during May21) there were 7 other clients, we all got on really well. I was treated for alcholism, today i feel great. I stayed at the step-by-step in Shoeburyness, Essex (called Lighthouse).

I can not recommend this rehab enough . As a family we will forever be thankful for Grants help, understanding and support . My Dad was in complete self destruction which was heart breaking to see , knowing there was nothing I could do to save him as I was out of my depth and I’d tried everything physically possible Sending a loved one into rehab is such an emotionally devastating and draining experience and thought , however after speaking to Grant he instantly warmed my heart with his advanced empathy and knowledge , I knew that my Dad would be in safe hands and with people that are not only extremely knowledgeable but very passionate about helping others with their recovery . Thankfully my Dad is well on the road to recovery , I have been blessed with more knowledge curtesy of Grants wisdom and most importantly as a family we feeling hopeful and excited about my Dads return home . Very rarely can we say someone has impacted our life’s selflessly , however We most definitely think Grant has , His passion and empathy is beyond any job description and his ability to be mindful and thoughtful in offering advice to family members is unique and most priceless . Grants support and reassurance most definitely helped me to save my Dad which I will forever be thankful for .

I have my life back! I went into the Lighthouse Treatment Centre desperate and broken. After finishing the 28 day program I moved into the Supported Housing. Full of nerves and what ifs but I faced my fears and it turned out to be the best decision of my life. I couldn’t do it in my own. The staff are amazing, they understand and what stood out for me the most is that they actually care. I’m happy and content, something I have been searching for 21 years. What a brilliant place I was desperate and needed to sort my life out i thought I never had any hope I was looking into going to a rehab and after I phoned around others rehabs I spoke to grant what a top bloke he spoke to me like an actual human and made me feel at ease and he spoke to my parents and got me in as quick as he could.the rehab it self was really good all the staff have been through addiction which made a massive difference and would do anything to make you feel comfortable it was the perfect place to start your recovery journey. When I went in my life was upside down and I was in trouble I couldn’t stop now I am a completely different person and just beginning to live my life.if you are suffering and you need to be taken away from your substance this is the place to do it.the structure is thought out so well and really helps you build a tool kit to fight your addiction!
