The Seafood Bar

We got to the restaurant 20mins early before they opened. The staff were friendly and allowed us to come in and get settled prior to opening. We had the mixed seafood platter and grill combination with a side of chips. The food was ample for 2 people and the menu does state for 2-3. Visually the food looked amazing and it tasted good too, there was half lobster, crab, oysters etc.... You can see from the pictures and some dipping sauces were a welcomed accompaniment. The grill section had various fish and some grilled calamari in a nice sauce. To accompany the meal we ordered a reisling white wine which had a subtle flavour, which felt was a good match with the food. I would definitely recommend this place for the food and the service provided. Wise to note service is included in the bill.

The food here is really great, especially if you are into seafood. The lobster soup was warming with a nice undercurrent of spice which in these winter days was very welcome. The sharing platter looked amazing and had plenty of choice for all tastes. The mussels and chips were great also, with the chips seasoned and cooked really well. The mussels were larger and the garlic sauce it was in was rich and delicious. Service was great, we had Andrea serve us and she was great! The atmosphere was also fantastic, with the lighting and the music being just right to set a nice ambience. I would come here again!

A great additional for seafood in London. The atmosphere and aesthetic is really open, bright and relaxing. It’s also not too noisy which is great. The oysters of 12 was amazing as were the Calamari. We got the mixed seafood platter, which was nice but not amazing. If we went again, I’d say to get the cold platter not the mixed one. It all tasted very the same because it was coated in so much sauce.

We went for New Year’s lunch. Staff were friendly and helpful. Appetisers were perfect. We were told that some seafood wasn’t available on that day so they replaced with more oysters and other seafood. It’s totally understandable. Suitable for birthday/anniversary celebration, or friend’s gathering.

The Wife and I visited on a early Friday evening for a meal before the evening show. The service was fantastic. Our waiter Vlad was engaging, courteous and affable. His recommendation worked out well for me. I enjoyed every dish served. The distinct flavours, textured and taste was accompanied by a nice ambience. Music may be a little louder than I would have expected but it was not blaring. The menu is varied and due to lack of time we couldn't stay longer otherwise the sharing platters were very enticing indeed. The location, service and experience cannot be faulted. I must admit I am not a huge seafood lover but. I do enjoy a good piece of fish once in a while. I had that, my salmon was great but the picked chicory was too strong. The sauce was delicious. The chips, some of the best chips I have had ever. Hopefully we will be back soon.
